Job Description

Supports Operations by performing administrative tasks in a professional and confidential manner.

Primary Duties

  • Manage contributors’ time & attendance, and other payroll-related activities
  • Maintain on-site HR records
  • Manage contract labor staffing process
  • Manage contributor ID badges, site access control and Verkada System
  • Support site safety initiatives and support EHS Coordinator and safety team.
  • Filing, document processing, and tracking expenses
  • Data entry and analysis of reports
  • Employee engagement activities, events, training and community outreach
  • Assist the HR department with activities and administrative functions as assigned.
  • Process all incoming mail
  • Manage all incoming general calls, schedule appointments, assist site visitors
  • Support purchasing, maintaining and tracking of consumables
  • Assist with management of facilities
  • Analyze monthly expense reports and provide details on variances
  • Work in other departments and/or perform miscellaneous tasks as needed
  • Participating in department meetings and projects
  • Develop analytical tools to quickly retrieve necessary data.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • In conjunction with the HRBP in Virginia Beach, assist contributors with questions regarding HR policy, benefits, payroll and worker’s comp.
  • In conjunction with the HRBP in Virgina Beach, assist Management and Contributors with incident investigations.
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate Work Instruction, Job descriptions and other documents.
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews and job fairs.
  • Demonstrate high interpersonal skills
  • Understanding Dayforce screens and functionality
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team-based environment.
  • Insure timely and accurate weekly submission of contributor time sheets
  • Demonstrate superior organization skills and abilities.
  • Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items. Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during the summer months.

Education / Experience

  • Associate degree and higher degrees preferred OR 5 years work experience equivalent
  • Computer literacy- working knowledge of MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
