Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
• Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
• Milk Reconciliation report consist of Farm Tag report, Ingredients report, Production reconciliation report and Raw Milk Inventory.
• Loss reports: Report to supervision on Fluid loss, BF and SNF loss daily.
• Resin loss report: Report to supervision on resin loss. Audit blow mold operator paper work and track weights daily and check if paper work is filled out daily.
• Planner is responsible for consist of planning the plant with each filler for each day of the week, check daily schedule of raw milk, track Costco items and inventory corrugated items daily.
• End of the month inventory: Counts are taken on the 1st of every month at 2am. Counts consist of all raw materials and all packaging supplies.
• Use AS-400 to track usage swings to change usage amounts and order amounts.
• Communicate with sales on special orders or increased/decreased usages to help plan order amounts.
• While tracking supplies order as needed and keep a manageable amount in the warehouse to keep cost low.
• Work with a variety of vendors to ensure product gets delivered on time for production. Meet with vendors frequently to meet and discuss orders, lead times, products and emergency items needed. Report to vendors on damaged product, wrong product or product that was mistakenly shipped to the warehouse.
• Work with Operators to find losses, check weights randomly on different fillers, work with blenders and pasteurizers on fluid loss and over standardizing products.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience working warehouse environment
• Must be flexible and able to work any shift
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, AS400)
• Ability to multi-task
• Contribute and take notes at the BF loss, Inventory, Packing loss and Resin loss/Blow mold committees.
• Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and all levels of management
• Demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills as well as being organized

Hourly rate: $28.98 - $32.20
