Operations Administrative Intern
Location: Nisku, Alberta

The Operations Administrative Clerk provides essential administrative and operational support to the Operations team. This role is responsible for processing field purchase requisitions, assisting with purchase order (PO) closeouts, and ensuring accurate documentation flow between field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain Field Purchase Requisitions in a timely and accurate manner as requested
Track and follow up on signed packing slips and service orders to support timely purchase order receiving
Liaise with vendors to match purchase orders to packing slips and invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist vendors and internal teams with resolving discrepancies related to POs, receipts, and documentation
Maintain organized records of purchase documentation and ensure all files are up to date
Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager and General Manager
Support day-to-day operational needs, including data entry, document tracking, and reporting as required
Communicate effectively with field personnel, vendors, and internal departments
Identify and escalate any issues impacting procurement or PO closure processes

Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in administration or business is an asset
Previous experience in an administrative, operations, or procurement support role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with ERP or purchasing systems is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
Based out of Nisku, Alberta
Office-based role with regular interaction with field operations and vendors
