Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Administrative Assistant to join the Smith and Smith Operations team on a fixed term basis.

This role provides administrative and coordination support to the Area Managers, National Operations Manager and Authorised Dealer Channel Managers, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business.

You will bring a positive and supportive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of customer service and operational support.

Location: NZ Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060).

Hours: 40 hours Monday – Friday

Fixed Term: 6 months

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • National Certificate Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Powerpoint)
  • Good IT literacy and confidence learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask across competing priorities
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solution focused, and adaptable approach to problem solving
  • Experience supporting projects, meetings, scheduling and coordination activities
  • Professional, collaborative and customer focused mindset
  • Physically fit as some light lifting may be required as part of the role.
