Reach Truck Driver (2nd Shift)
General Job Summary

A Reach Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a reach truck forklift to move, store, and
retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center up to 30 feet high. This role focuses on
handling palletized inventory in narrow aisles and elevated storage locations while maintaining
accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards.
Core Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck to transport, load, unload, and stack materials in warehouse racking
systems
• Place and retrieve pallets from high rack locations with precision
• Ensure accurate product placement and inventory movement according to warehouse
procedures
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Assist with inventory counts, order picking, and staging of materials as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support workflow and
productivity
• Be able to lift 20-40 pounds frequently.

Typical Work Environment
• Indoor warehouse or distribution center
• Narrow aisles and high rack storage systems
• Standing, lifting, bending, and operating powered industrial equipment for extended periods
Skills & Qualifications (General)
• Prior reach truck or forklift experience.
• Valid forklift/reach truck certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
