About OHV:

At Oral Health Victoria (OHV), we know our team is key to deliver better oral health for Victoria. OHV is responsible for the delivery of oral health services through The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM), through purchased services from over 50 community dental agencies and a range of oral health promotion programs and projects focusing on Victorian communities with the greatest need.

About the Role:

Join our supportive team committed to enhancing the oral health of government school students statewide. We're looking for Operation Support who will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the operational delivery of Smile Squad services across the Regional Team. The role provides leadership support, logistical coordination, administrative oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent service delivery in line with Smile Squad and public health service objectives.

The position contributes to workforce coordination, fleet and asset management processes, outreach activities, and service planning, and supports the continuous improvement of regional operations.

 Some duties to expect:

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day operational activities of the Regional Team to enable timely and effective delivery of Smile Squad services.
  • Support service delivery activities during school holidays, including special initiatives, Zoo visits, and other program-related events.
  • Provide coordination, planning, and/or on-the-ground support for ad hoc outreach events as required
  • Work collaboratively with the Fleet Team to ensure vehicles, assets, and equipment utilised by the Regional Team are correctly serviced, maintained, and compliant with organisational and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service spreadsheets documenting vehicle and equipment allocation and usage.
  • Monitor asset availability and proactively identify servicing, maintenance, or operational issues.
  • Maintain administrative spreadsheets related to staff activities, including tracking of key administrative and operational requirements.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of Regional Team accommodation requests and logistical requirements.
  • Organise, coordinate, and support meetings for the Regional Team, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and logistics.

A bit about you:

  • Experience in coordination, administration or team support roles within health, education, or community services.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience using MS Office
  • Full Victorian driver’s license.
  • Comfortable driving the treatment vans.
  • Victorian Working with Children’s Check.
  • Experience working within a public health or government funded program is highly desirable
  • Experience coordinating logistics, schedules, fleet or asset management processes is highly desirable.
