What we are looking for

• minimum 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a management role;
• experience in Operations / Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics / Operational Excellence;
• experience managing diverse operational teams and functions;
• strong experience in stock and inventory management, including stock rotation, ageing, availability, and working capital;
• experience in procurement and supplier management, including Purchase-to-Pay;
• good understanding of warehouse and logistics processes;
• proven experience in process simplification and operational efficiency;
• participation in or leadership of ERP / WMS implementation or optimization projects;
• experience in automation, digitalization, or centralization projects;
• experience in cross-functional projects with company-wide impact;
• ability to demonstrate tangible results in cost reduction, productivity improvement, or working capital optimization.

Experience in a business with a national network, significant inventory levels, distribution, logistics, and complex operations would be considered an advantage.

Job Description Summary

We are looking for an Operational Support Director to lead the operational support functions and actively contribute to improving efficiency, simplifying processes, and enhancing overall business performance.

The role has broad exposure across the organization and oversees areas such as Sales & After Sales Administration, Stock Management, Procurement, Warehouse & Logistics, working closely with the Commercial, After Sales, Finance, IT, and HR teams.

In this position, you will be responsible for transforming operational processes into simpler, more efficient, digital, and business-oriented ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:

• leading and developing the teams within the Operational Support area;
• identifying and implementing opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and efficiency improvement;
• optimizing end-to-end processes and eliminating low value-added activities;
• overseeing stock management and inventory optimization, with a focus on stock rotation, availability, ageing, and working capital;
• overseeing procurement and supplier management activities, including the optimization of Purchase-to-Pay processes;
• coordinating warehouse & logistics operations and improving warehouse productivity;
• developing and monitoring performance, productivity, and quality KPIs;
• identifying cost optimization initiatives and contributing to EBIT and profitability targets;
• leading automation, digitalization, and operational transformation projects;
• actively participating in ERP/WMS implementation and optimization projects;
• using data, Power BI, AI, and reporting tools to improve processes and decision-making;
• leading cross-functional projects and supporting organizational change;
• building a culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
