Operational Supervisor
Location: Manchesster Depot
Shift: Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week
We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee the depot operations and support our workforce in delivering a safe, efficient, and compliant service.
· Oversee daily/weekly/monthly tasks to meet KPIs and contract requirements
· Monitor safe working practices through vehicle CCTV, tracking systems, and on-route crew observations.
· Ensure compliance with the Company’s Operator’s Licence, drivers’ hours regulations, and the Working Time Directive.
· Lead inductions, safety training, and site checks
· Assist Supervisors in driving vehicle and crew efficiencies, while monitoring team performance and competency
· Support management in ensuring operational productivity, resource planning, and budget alignment.
· Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, operational procedures, and Health & Safety requirements
· Able to communicate clearly and respectfully at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
· Good understanding of the drivers Working Time Directive.
· LGV Licence (Essential)
· Builds trust and positive relationships, contributes to team meetings, and confidently leads crew briefings and toolbox talks.
