Our client is a leading express delivery and logistics company in Vietnam, seeking experienced professionals to join their organization.
Role Overview
The Operational Excellence Specialist is responsible for improving operational processes, service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency across logistics, transportation, warehousing, and fulfilment operations.
The role works closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Technology teams to identify performance gaps, standardize processes, and deliver measurable operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze end-to-end logistics processes to identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and control gaps.
Lead process improvement initiatives across transportation, sorting, warehousing, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery operations.
Develop and standardize standard operating procedures, workflows, service standards, and operational controls.
Monitor operational KPIs, including productivity, turnaround time, delivery performance, cost per shipment, and service quality.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Support warehouse layout planning, workforce planning, capacity utilization, and workflow optimization.
Improve route planning, line-haul operations, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to enhance system utilization, data accuracy, and process automation.
Develop dashboards and prepare regular performance reports for management.
Support operational audits and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Train operational teams on new processes, tools, and improvement initiatives.
Monitor project implementation and quantify cost savings and productivity improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related discipline.
At least 4-6 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, fulfilment, or operational excellence.
Strong experience in process improvement, operational analysis, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Good understanding of logistics operations and service performance KPIs.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement methodologies is preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with Power BI is considered an advantage.
Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP, or other logistics operating systems is preferred.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Hands-on, structured, and comfortable working across multiple operational sites.
