At John Sisk & Son, we’re more than a construction company, we’re a family-owned business with a global reach, committed to building excellence in every project. We deliver trust, certainty and value to our clients while embracing innovation and shaping the future of construction.
The Operational Lessons Learned Manager is responsible for completing the feedback loop to ensure organisational knowledge and project experience are transformed into measurable improvements in business performance.
The role will establish and lead Sisk's Operational Lessons Learned Framework, creating a structured approach to capturing, analysing, sharing and embedding lessons learned across projects and functions. The postholder will ensure that valuable experience gained on projects is transferred into future work, reducing repeat issues, improving consistency of delivery and supporting Quality of Earnings.
Practically, this means facilitating post-completion reviews, developing in-flight learning capture processes, establishing a Lessons Learned Council, analysing trends and introducing pre-mortem processes to help project teams learn from both past experiences and anticipated future risks.
A key measure of success for this role is not simply identifying lessons learned, but ensuring that learning is adopted, embedded and demonstrably influences future project outcomes.
