Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with building financial reporting, producing analysis, implementing monitoring and reporting solutions.
  • Experience in developing strategies in fluid environments, along with excellent business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the business outcomes.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influence decision making with numerical analysis and generate insights.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate to influence the leadership.

The Real Estate Finance team, is a part of the Global Affairs finance team, and partners with the Real Estate team globally. We help make investment decisions, plan, forecast and financially manage our office footprint.

We are looking for someone with the excellent investigative skills to help our Workplace teams continue to make Google the best place to work! As an analyst on the team you will work with the Workplace team to plan, manage, forecast, and analyze to support the decisions for our Workplace services at Googler office spaces around the world.

Our Financial Analysts are up to date with the latest economic and industry trends and manage budgets, forecasts, accruals and analysis of our financials. If you are able to manage and analyze complex data with business partners, and able to focus on the details while finding creative ways to manage big picture challenges, this role may be for you.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$135,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of complex datasets to extract trends and provide insights that drive the business decisions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize financial and operational risks, applying resources economically to minimize impact and maximize opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the projects, navigating multiple stakeholders, shifting timelines, and evolving organizational needs.
  • Improve core financial processes and streamline reporting to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of forecasts and results.
  • Serve as a key bridge between Finance and Business Operations to maintain the stakeholder relationships and organizational alignment.
