In this role, you will perform period and quarterly accounting and close processes for all US Bottling Field locations, and provide support to the Field locations for business and productivity initiatives, tax and bottle deposit filings, statutory and legal entity reporting, state audits and inquiries, and ad-hoc requests.

This is a hybrid role based in our Purchase, NY or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities

Field Financial Reporting:

  • Complete period, quarter and annual closing of the financial statements
  • Review and analyze results for controllable costs, including comparisons to prior period, prior year, forecast, and plan
  • Prepare and review Field journal entries to ensure accurate financials
  • Prepare and review periodic balance sheet reconciliations and schedules, as well as quarterly balance sheet analytics
  • Work with Field location teams to manage timely submission of periodic results
  • Maintain an adequate control environment by executing key controls to ensure
  • Field locations are aligned with PBC policies
  • Document and review all processes, key controls, and desktop procedures
  • Identify areas of opportunity for automation and simplification of Field reporting processes
  • Support Associate Manager with consolidated PBC Field results, including analytics, risks/opportunities, and other ad hoc requests
  • Lead special projects to improve overall Field Financial Reporting performance through process improvements and automation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • CPA required
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and utilize multiple systems including S/4 HANA and Business Objects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and cross-functionally
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
