The Operational Excellence Specialist will drive efficiency, consistency, and performance across AJW’s global aviation operations. This role focuses on improving processes and embedding scalable ways of working that enhance service delivery and cost performance.
Working across supply chain, logistics, technical, and commercial functions, the role plays a key part in delivering smarter, more efficient operations supporting AJW’s mission to transform aviation efficiency.
Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
Design and implement process improvements to enhance performance and consistency
Use data to track operational performance and measure improvement impact
Support standardisation of processes across teams and locations
Work with stakeholders to embed changes and ensure adoption
Contribute to automation and better use of systems and technology
Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations
Provide clear reporting on performance, risks, and outcomes
Experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Experience working in aviation, supply chain, logistics, or technical environments
Ability to map and improve processes (Lean or similar methodologies)
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience using data tools (Excel or similar)
Experience in aviation or MRO environments
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks
Exposure to automation or digital transformation initiatives
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Quantum, AMOS)
