About the role

We are looking for an analytical and results-driven Operational Excellence Officer to support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on optimizing processes, improving operational performance, and driving efficiency through Lean methodologies, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Define operational KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational alignment and continuous improvement culture.
  • Train staff on operational excellence tools and best practices
  • Support compliance, quality assurance, and operational audit activities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA will be considered an asset.
  • 3–7 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of process mapping, KPI monitoring, and performance measurement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Master’s degree or MBA will be considered an asset.
