OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE & DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP (m/f/d)

Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a talented and motivated Operational Excellence & Development Advocate Intern to join the Pharma Strategic Excellence & Innovation Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional development initiatives (Talent Plan), operational excellence projects (CRM & Customer Engagement Tool & Effectiveness), and innovative transformation initiatives (Analytics & AI Projects), contributing to the ambition of building the Best Bayer across Chapters, Functions, and Nucleus within the organization.

The role combines development support and operational excellence, offering a unique opportunity to actively contribute to process optimization, platform enhancement, and change management, while supporting strategic business objectives and customer experience

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Operational Excellence & Development Lead in driving growth and development initiatives and key operational excellence processes
• Contribute to agile project management activities, including project planning and execution for Development, Operational Excellence and Analytics projects
• Support the setup and coordination of recurring agile meetings (e.g. Syncs, Retrospectives, Learning Cycles…)
• Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations, communication materials, Excel analyses, and dashboards
• Promote and support training-related operational activities across the organization
• Manage and upload relevant information into digital tools (e.g. MyLearning, Qualtrics, CRM…), ensuring accuracy and timeliness

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive mindset, ability to learn quickly, and strong interest in digital innovation and problem solving
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and planning tools (Outlook, Teams), with flexibility to learn new digital platforms
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Italian native speaker
• Team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude and a pragmatic approach
