Operational Drawing Engineer

Join a visionary team and play a critical role in the cutting-edge Hinkley Point C project as an Operational Drawing Engineer. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your technical expertise and creativity to produce precise engineering drawings that support one of the most significant energy developments of our time. Your contributions will help ensure the success of this innovative project, working alongside top professionals in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D AutoCAD skills
Minimum of 3+ years of experience producing electrical drawings and P&IDs
Strong data extraction skills from design documents
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Superior organisational and IT capabilities
Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Enthusiastic about continuous learning and improvement
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working within a project organisation
Background in nuclear or similarly regulated industries
Knowledge of quality arrangements in the UK nuclear environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant qualifications supporting electrical or engineering design
Proven track record with electrical drawings and data extraction in regulated environments
Other Requirements:
Experience working within the UK nuclear regulatory framework is advantageous
Ability to adapt to project-specific tools and software
