Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

We are seeking an innovative and motivated Operational Director to lead the development of education and research at NHW.

The Operational Director will have day-to-day responsibility for:

• Leading a dynamic and innovative direction for education and research at NHW.
• Contributing to the NHW strategic and clinical services plan, with a focus on education and research.
• Strengthening partnerships with tertiary education providers.
• Expanding and strengthening Education and Research services for surrounding small rural health services.

• Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
