FANAR S.A. is looking for

Operational Buyer

Responsible for supporting procurement operations in accordance with the Seco Procurement Guidelines and defined KPIs, ensuring that the ERP system and procurement data are accurate, up to date, and reflect the latest supplier information.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparing requests for quotation (RFQs), evaluating offers, and selecting suppliers in accordance with procurement procedures.

  • Conducting commercial negotiations and building long-term relationships with suppliers.

  • Creating, processing, and administering purchase orders and maintaining the required procurement documentation.

  • Monitoring purchase order fulfillment against supplier confirmations and taking appropriate action in the event of deviations.

  • Optimizing procurement costs while ensuring the required quality standards and on-time delivery performance.

  • Coordinating and overseeing customs clearance activities within the procurement process.

  • Monitoring supplier contract execution and compliance.

  • Maintaining and updating the ERP M3 database in accordance with procurement procedures and Internal Control (IC) requirements.

  • Working closely with Finance, Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Sales, Quality, Engineering, and R&D departments.

  • Participating in continuous improvement projects and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Supporting key procurement activities and monitoring procurement process performance through KPIs.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.

  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Knowledge of customs and transportation regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under time pressure.

  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and a high level of responsibility.
