We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Operational Buyer This position reports to Purchasing Manager and will work in Dometic Office Nova Milanese.

About the position

As anOperational Buyer in the Purchasing team, you will be involved in supporting the Purchasing function in the Company and help to incorporate cost effective purchasing of all production and consumable materials. To support the Purchasing Manager to ensure detailed and consistent communication throughout the Company regarding management of suppliers.

Your main responsibilities

• To ensure a reliable supply of purchased goods to the right quality levels and at optimal total cost.
• To place purchase orders for materials based on MRP planning reports and approved requisitions.
• To prepare, maintain and track order entry for all purchase orders.
• To review purchase order acknowledgments to ensure they coincide with the information stated on the purchase order.
• To help with the management of vendors regarding material problems, delivery issues and quality problems
• To expedite and manage vendors to help achieve OTIF delivery from suppliers.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within a manufacturing company – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes.
• Very good written and verbal English.
