JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Analyst is responsible for the execution, validation, quality assurance, and delivery of regulatory and client reporting. This role supports day-to-day Regulatory Reporting operations by ensuring report deliveries are accurate, timely, and compliant with established requirements. The Analyst serves as the primary owner of recurring report production activities and maintains reporting schedules, validation guides, and operational documentation while supporting issue investigation, audit requests, and reporting quality initiatives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute recurring regulatory report deliverables in accordance with established schedules and service level expectations.
  • Perform detailed quality assurance and validation of report outputs prior to delivery.
  • Identify, research, and investigate report discrepancies and data anomalies.
  • Maintain report inventory repositories, delivery schedules, master trackers, and reporting documentation.
  • Maintain validation guides, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Monitor report results and identify exceptions requiring review.
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requests through data validation and report production activities.
  • Escalate reporting risks, delays, or quality concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, corporate data security standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Support implementation of reporting process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary owner of recurring report production and delivery activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a reporting or analytics role, or related experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality or work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and large-volume data analysis.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance reporting activities.
  • SAP Business Objects or equivalent reporting tool experience.
  • Experience with quality assurance, report validation, and audit support.
