Job Description

AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting tailored to the unique needs of each client. AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 people in 14 countries.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Operational Analyst to join our Due Diligence team. This role plays a key part in supporting the onboarding, monitoring, and governance of third-party partners, ensuring all due diligence processes are executed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with teams across Underwriting, Compliance, Risk, and Operations, combining strong data analysis with regulatory awareness and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end due diligence reviews on third parties, including onboarding and ongoing monitoring
  • Analyse data to identify risk indicators, trends, and potential exposures
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, governance frameworks, and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems and due diligence databases
  • Produce high-quality reports to support governance committees and business decision-making
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, managing queries through to resolution
  • Identify and escalate risks or inconsistencies in documentation or submissions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of due diligence processes and controls

We’re looking for candidates with experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment, who bring a strong understanding of risk, compliance, or due diligence processes. You should have advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, and the ability to interpret complex data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of FCA regulations, delegated authority, or third-party oversight would be beneficial.

We’re particularly interested in individuals with a proactive and curious mindset, who demonstrate strong risk awareness and can balance detailed analysis with a broader commercial perspective. You’ll be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and is motivated by continuous improvement, learning, and professional development
