Your Mission as an Operations Team Lead

As an Operations Team Lead, your core mission is to ensure process safety, occupational HSE compliance, and operational excellence at the production facility. You will lead by example, enforcing safe work practices, maintaining uptime, and ensuring asset integrity, all while delivering high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Operations Team Lead

• Enforce compliance with Process Safety and Asset Integrity Management (PSAIM) standards and facility-specific procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and maintain a clean and organized site.
• Oversee incident reporting, remedial work closure, and personnel safety at the location
• Lead daily evening safety meetings with the crew
• Ensure compliance with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Management of Change (MoC) processes.

• Monitor critical process parameters (flow, temperature, pressure, chemical quality, etc.) to maintain on-specification production.
• Prepare and submit Daily Production Reports (DPR) to the client
• Review material orders (chemicals, spare parts, PPE) and ensure timely procurement.
• Assist the O&M Superintendent in performance evaluations of operational staff.
• Promote and enforce company-approved safety and operational policies
• Ensure proper O&M team shift handover formalization

• Strong leadership skills with experience in:
  • Providing clear, constructive feedback to teams.
  • Empowering and mentoring team members
• Ability to manage production facility activities with a high level of competency
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with managers, peers, and clients

Expertise:

• Permit to Work (PTW) Management
• Control Room Operations and monitoring.
• Emergency Response Management
• Process Safety & Asset Integrity Management (PSAIM)
• Operations & Maintenance (O&M) in Oil/Gas/Water processing facilities

Additional Information

• Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6x3) / (4x4).
• Location: South of Sirt/ Zintan - Libya.
