Under the direction of the surgical leadership team, the Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) utilizes the nursing process to facilitate comprehensive perioperative care.

In this role, you will perform nursing assessments, formulate diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans within a state-of-the-art 6-OR suite supported by 25 pre- and post-op rooms. You will join a tight-knit team of nearly 1,800 dedicated professionals delivering world-class, minimally invasive care right in the heart of Florida’s most vibrant community.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Experience: 1 year of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) or Critical Care experience is preferred.
• 1 year of Circulating or Scrub OR RN experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to do on-call and live within 30 min of Spanish Plaines Hospital

Licensure, Certifications & Skills

• Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License (or valid Compact multi-state license).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
