Hatch Asia is seeking an Operating Partner to establish, lead, and scale our Indonesia practice, with a focused portfolio across Executive Search (60%) and Leadership Succession & Assessment (40%).
The practice specialises in:
- Logistics & Supply Chain leadership
- Family Office leadership
- C-suite and C-1 roles
This is a founder-style role for a senior professional who wants to build a market under a respected regional brand. The Operating Partner will act as the custodian of the Hatch Asia brand in Indonesia, with ownership of market development, client relationships, delivery quality, and revenue performance.
Market & Practice Ownership
- Establish and grow Hatch Asias presence in Indonesia
- Develop and execute the country-level growth strategy across search and leadership advisory
- Build long-term relationships with Boards, CEOs, CHROs, and principals of family offices
- Represent Hatch Asia as a trusted leadership partner in the Indonesia market
Executive Search
- Lead end-to-end executive search assignments for senior leadership roles, including: C-suite and C-1 executives, Supply Chain & Logistics leaders, Senior leaders within Family Offices
- Own the full search lifecycle: Mandate scoping and success profile definition / Market mapping and candidate engagement / Senior candidate assessment and shortlist presentation / Offer management and successful placement
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics, discretion, and candidate care
Leadership Succession & Assessment
- Lead leadership succession and assessment engagements for senior roles
- Advise clients on leadership readiness, potential, and succession risk
- Facilitate succession planning discussions with senior stakeholders
- Integrate assessment insights into executive hiring and leadership decisions
Revenue & Commercial Accountability
- Own country-level revenue performance across executive search and leadership advisory
- Originate and grow new client relationships
- Structure, price, and close assignments in line with brand and quality standards
- Build a balanced, sustainable pipeline across both contingent and retained work
Brand Stewardship & Governance
- Operate under the Hatch Asia brand with full accountability for reputation and quality
- Adhere to regional governance, ethics, and delivery standards
- Collaborate with regional leadership on cross-border mandates and shared clients
Ideal Partner Profile
Experience
15+ years of professional experience, with exposure to:
Executive search, leadership advisory, or senior talent roles and/or
Senior leadership roles with strong commercial and stakeholder accountability
Demonstrated credibility with C-suite, Board members, and Family Office principals
Strong understanding of leadership challenges in complex and owner-led organisations
Founder Mindset & Attributes
Entrepreneurial and ownership-driven- Comfortable with variable income in exchange for long-term upside
High integrity, discretion, and sound judgement
Able to build a market independently while leveraging a regional platform- Long-term orientation toward building a sustainable practice
