To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis (corner guards, locks, windows, doors, and furniture.)
• Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
• Clean all work areas after completing job.
• Fill out daily work form.
• Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in hotel setting preferred.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Must be a member in good standing with Local 399.
• Must have an active City of Chicago Operating Engineers License.
