Job Family Summary:


  • The PS Operator belongs to the Plant Core Tech job family. This job family includes roles that are responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing plant.

  • The PS - Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant. They ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operating machinery and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.

  • Maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions with the machinery or equipment.

  • Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving any issues with the machinery or equipment.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Band Level: BTA


  • This role falls under the BTA band level. Employees at this level are expected to support and assist in executing strategies in their team or organization. They are guided by detailed procedures and well-defined precedents, focusing on specific tasks or segments within their team or organization. They work under direct supervision, follow well-defined precedents and policies, and determine their own priorities within established guidelines and practices.
