Our client, a global Healthcare company, is seeking an experienced OpenText xECM and SAP InfoArchive Consultant to support enterprise content management, SAP archiving, legacy data migration, retention, and system decommissioning initiatives. The selected Candidate will design, implement, administer, and optimize OpenText xECM, Content Server, Archive Center, OTDS, and InfoArchive integration within SAP S/4HANA and ECC. In addition to migrating legacy data into InfoArchive, implementing, archiving, and retention strategies, this role will support SAP ILM, and ensuring compliant and efficient data lifecycle management. This role will collaborate closely with SAP basis, Functional, Technical, business teams and compliance officers to deliver robust archiving solutions that reduce storage costs, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high system performance. This is a 6-month contractual role, with the likelihood of extension. Candidates must be willing to work the Client's preferred CET hours. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation and integration of OpenText xECM, Archive Center, and InfoArchive with SAP S/4HANA and ECC. Configure and manage SAP ArchiveLink repositories (OAC0, OAC2, OAC3), archiving objects (AOBJ, SARI), and SAP data archiving using SARA and DB15. Configure and administer OTDS, SSO, xECM Business Workspaces, Content Server, and Document Pipelines. Design and implement legacy data migration, archiving, retention, and decommissioning strategies using InfoArchive. Configure, load, maintain, and retrieve structured and unstructured data within OpenText InfoArchive. Conduct data volume assessments and implement SAP ILM, retention policies, legal holds, and data lifecycle strategies. Monitor system health, archiving jobs, logs, storage queues, and integrations; troubleshoot performance, connectivity, retrieval, and system issues. Define and test backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for OpenText platforms and archive repositories. Collaborate with SAP Basis, Functional/Technical, infrastructure, database, cloud, business, and compliance teams. Support AWS, Azure, SAP RISE, system provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and transport management. Gather requirements and translate them into functional/technical designs, architecture documents, configuration guides, and SOPs. Execute units, integration, regression, and UAT testing, as well as production cutover and post-go-live support. Support legacy data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, and successful application decommissioning. Ensure archived data remains accessible, searchable, retrievable, and compliant with applicable regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Requirements 5–8+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText and SAP integrations. Deep experience with OpenText xECM/Extended ECM for SAP, Content Server, OTDS, Archive Center, and InfoArchive. Strong hands-on experience with InfoArchive configuration, data loading, archiving, administration, and retrieval. Strong knowledge of SAP ILM, SAP Data Archiving, ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server, SARA, OAC0/OAC2/OAC3, AOBJ, and SARI. Working knowledge of SAP Basis, K-Pro, and basic ABAP debugging. Experience with legacy data migration and system decommissioning. Experience administering enterprise applications on Windows/Linux and working with SQL Server, Oracle, and/or SAP HANA. Knowledge of XML, JavaScript, shell scripting, and preferably OpenText Object Importer/Blaster tools. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Qualifications OpenText certification in Extended ECM, InfoArchive, or related technologies. Experience with SAP RISE, cloud-native/containerized deployments, AWS, or Azure. Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, SEC, and FINRA compliance requirements. Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, archiving, and data lifecycle management.
