Job Shift: Opening🌞 Early Morning Lifeguard – Start Your Day with Purpose at the Haverhill YMCA! 🌞
Part-Time | Monday–Friday (Flexible on the day) 5:00 AM–9:00 AM |Split shifts available | Certification class February 15th - 21st
Are you an early riser who loves making a difference? The Haverhill YMCA is seeking dependable, certified lifeguards to join our aquatics team during our morning hours. This role is perfect for college students, retirees, or anyone who wants to start the day with purpose while keeping our community safe.
🛟 What You’ll Do:
- Open the pool and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members.
- Provide lifeguard coverage during early morning swim sessions.
- Opportunity to teach swim lessons and share your love of the water.
- Model our YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
- Maintain a focus on safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.

- Current Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to get certified — our upcoming class runs 12/21/25–12/31/25!)
- Dependable early-morning work ethic

Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- YUSA swim instructor/lifeguard certified preferred, but not required; training may be provided to the right candidate.
