Your new role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Field expert of protein and peptide engineering, production and QC with in-depth knowledge and experience.
  • Be responsible for generating protein and peptide compounds to enable NNRCC target discovery in cardiometabolic diseases and project progression up to G0 milestone.
  • Collaborate with and supervise Tech Scientist/Research Associate to advance relevant technology platforms and deliver project milestones.
  • Act as technology coordinator/ project manager in a global matrix organization
  • Drive technology innovation in protein/peptide chemistry
  • Build strong scientific network within protein/peptide chemistry with internal and external stakeholders.

Your skills & qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or closely related scientific disciplines
  • 6+ years of experience on display technologies and related skills, including phage display, mammalian cell display, molecular design, protein expression, engineering and QC, etc.
  • Industrial experience of therapeutic protein and peptide discovery and development is required.
  • AI assisted molecule design experience is a strong plus.
  • Outstanding track record of creativity, independence, and scientific accomplishments in the field of protein/peptide drug development.
  • Experience in small molecule chemistry and design principle is an advantage
  • Automation experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a global setting is required
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team in a global setting
