Job Title: Open Rank Clinical and Financial Operations Professional (Intermediate – Senior)

Position #: 00852199 – Requisition #: 40816

The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine seeks a Clinical and Financial Operations Professional. This position will be responsible for providing financial and clinical operations support for the Division. This position will also provide operational support to the director of the Center for Lungs and Breathing program and clinical faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide business support to the director of the Center for Lungs and Breathing (CLB) program.

  • Monitor and provide support for clinical compliance maintenance.

  • Serve as secondary clinical credentialer for the Division.

  • Utilize Amion/Qgenda to enter clinical schedules and process clinical schedule trades for MICU faculty and fellows as well as make corrections when scheduling issues arise.

  • Share budget tracking responsibilities for the APP Fellowship Program.

  • Track and reconcile consulting agreements.

  • Update and reconcile financial reports for programs within the Division.

  • Submit journal entries and payroll expense transfers.

Work Location:

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Intermediate Level:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • One (1) year of professional experience with business operations and financial administration.

Senior Level:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Two (2) years of professional experience with business operations and financial administration.

A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience at an academic and/or medical institution performing clinical and/or fiscal support or management.

  • Experience with University of Colorado finance systems (i.e., Concur, CU Marketplace).

  • Experience managing travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, rental cars, etc.) in a professional environment.

  • Experience with PowerBI.

  • Experience managing clinical schedules (with preference to utilization of Amion/QGenda).

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as

  • Intermediate Level: $54,656 – $73,239

  • Senior Level: $59,087 – $79,177

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
