The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine has an opening for a full-time Operations Administrator at the Principal Professional or Program Manager Level. This role will report to the Division Administrator (DA) and work closely with the DA, Division Head, and other divisional leadership as needed for the operations needs of the Division.

Communications and Quality Control Management
Work Location:
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Thank you for your interest in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado! Our over 150 faculty are located across four sites: the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, National Jewish Health, Denver Health, and the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System.

Many seminal discoveries in pulmonary and critical care medicine occurred here in Denver, including advances in tuberculosis, interstitial lung disease, airway disease, cancer, and critical care. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Principal Professional Level:
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educationaltechnology,socialscience,liberalarts,communications,accounting,finance,library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of professional experience in business operations.
Program Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educationaltechnology,socialscience,liberalarts,communications,accounting,finance,library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Four (4) years of professional experience in business operations.
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) yearsofadministrativeexperienceinhealthcareoruniversity setting.
Experiencecreating,obtainingapprovalandmonitoring budgets.
Experiencemanagingoperationsforauniversity division.
Experienceprovidingadministrativeandtechnicalassistancetofacultyandstaffwithina higher educationand/ormedicaleducation environment.
Experiencewithuniversitysystems(e.g.Concur,Archibus,Webspace,HCM).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Abilitytocommunicateeffectively,bothinwritingand orally.
Abilitytoestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswithemployeesatalllevels throughout the institution.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
Principal Professional: $67,950 – $91,054
Program Manager: $70,905 – $95,012
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
