About the Role

As a Global OPEN+ Deployment Leader, you will play a pivotal role in building capability, driving operational excellence, and embedding the Integrated Operating System (IOS) across affiliates in your scope. You will train, coach, and develop Pillar teams, Open+ Managers, and Affiliate Trainers to ensure world‑class execution of Open+ standards.

You will also assess the maturity of Pillar implementation, support affiliates in their deployment journey, and act as a key connector between site teams, regional trainers, and global stakeholders.

This is a high‑impact role where you directly shape operational capability and performance across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Capability Building & Deployment

  • Build capability across all pillars: AM, PM, E&T, FI, SN, WPI, EHS, Q, IM and RTT
  • Train and coach Pillar teams, Open+ Managers, and Affiliate Trainers to ensure consistent deployment of Open+ methodology.
  • Conduct Phase Assessments and Foundation Assessments to evaluate maturity and identify development areas.

Pillar Leadership Support

  • Support Site Pillar Leaders in defining Pillar Masterplans, rollout plans, and capability‑building strategies.
  • Coach teams on Pillar methodologies and guide them in achieving input/output targets.
  • Support loss elimination activities by building technical mastery and problem‑solving capability.
  • Help establish Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and effective Pillar Review processes.

Governance, Standards & System Health

  • Train teams on Health Checks and assessments; calibrate consistency of execution.
  • Identify system gaps and guide affiliates in implementing effective countermeasures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Pillar standards and governance processes for any changes.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Actively collaborate with Regional and Global Pillar Leaders, Regional Trainers, and the Regional Lead.
  • Ensure clear communication and visualization of the OPEN+ strategy, roadmap, and cluster priorities.
  • Engage stakeholders across region/cluster management to ensure alignment and adoption.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with local legislation and company policies.
  • Participate in mandatory EHS trainings and apply learnings in daily work.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required and maintain safe, orderly workspaces.
  • Actively participate in EHS programs and immediately report any violations.
  • Assess workplace risks and implement measures to reduce them.
  • Ensure work conditions meet legal and organizational EHS standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Language

  • College/University degree
  • Fluent in English and local language

Professional Experience

  • Experience in areas such as:
    • Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, EHS
    • Understanding of factory management structure
  • Proven exposure to:
    • Integrated Operating System (IOS) pillars
    • Standard work processes
    • Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
    • Loss elimination tools

Functional Skills


  • Knowledge of:
    • Manufacturing processes (e.g., tobacco processing, make-pack, filter making)
    • QA/PD processes and regulatory requirements
    • EHS standards and practices
    • Supply Chain processes
    • HR processes and employee capability building

  • Advanced MS Office user

Soft Skills & Leadership

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities
  • Skilled in influencing across multiple levels and cultures
