An established automotive dealership in Dublin is seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join its busy workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Complete scheduled maintenance programmes in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Perform engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, and brake repairs.
• Conduct advanced fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles.
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Prepare vehicles for roadworthiness testing and complete any required repairs.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop records.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Work closely with service advisors and workshop management to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements
• Qualified Motor Technician, Automotive Technician, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience working on petrol and diesel vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
