About the roles

Our Outside School Hours Care (OOSHC) programs provide children with safe, engaging and enriching experiences before school, after school and during vacation care.

You'll play an important role in creating a positive environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn, play and grow.

As an OOSHC Educator, you will:

  • Create fun, engaging and meaningful experiences for children.
  • Support and supervise children during play and learning activities.
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

As an OOSHC Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead the day to day operation of the service.
  • Guide, mentor and support a team of educators.
  • Plan and oversee engaging programs and experiences for children.
  • Build strong relationships with families, schools and the local community.
  • Assist with rostering, administration, compliance and service documentation.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and child safe culture.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the service.

Requirements

OOSHC Educators

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (or willingness to obtain)
  • Foundations of Child Safety Training – Modules 1&2 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with children

OOSHC Team Leader

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous leadership or extensive educator experience
  • Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
