About your service: St Gertrude's Catholic Primary School, Smithfield

Hourly Rate: $32 - $41 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $3.12 - $3.96 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• After School Care: 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm
• Hours: Monday to Friday 15 hours. Guaranteed all school days.

• Vacation Care: Flexible 38 Hours per week.
• Travel: Work close to home.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As our OOSH Service Assistant you will:

• Create Awesome Experiences: Assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OOSH programs.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
• The Vibe: You’re warm, engaging, and have a "can-do" attitude.
• The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & . Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
