About the role:

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Server Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic Onyx team! This position assists theServer in providing an enjoyable dining experienceto our guests whileconforming tothe restaurant’sstandards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The position clears tables and resets them neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification while attending to guest needs and requests.

What you will do:

  • Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting and delivering it to guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table.

  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.

  • Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.

  • Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.

  • Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.

  • Preparation of condiment and garnish items.

What you bring:

  • High school education or equivalent experience.

  • One year previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.

  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

  • The ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests.

  • This is a part time position scheduled around 3-4 days a week.
