Job Description Summary

The Onsite Technical and Logistical Support role provides practical technical and logistical assistance to service teams and storekeepers supporting GE Vernova’s Haliade 150 fleet.

Working primarily from offshore service vessels, with additional onshore assignments as required, the role uses turbine knowledge to support service preparation, parts verification, tooling readiness, and warehouse activities, helping reduce preparation issues and avoidable operational delays.

All assigned activities must remain within the role holder's competence, training, authorization, and any applicable offshore medical certification and safety requirements.

Working Arrangements

Offshore assignments follow a 14-days-on/14-days-off schedule. Flexibility is required to support different sites and either Rotation A or Rotation B.

Onshore assignments may follow a different working pattern. Assignments and rotation changes will be planned within agreed working arrangements and applicable working-time and rest requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide practical technical and logistical support to service teams onboard offshore service vessels and at associated onshore facilities.
• Assist vessel storekeepers with materials handling, inventory accuracy, and traceability.
• Support the preparation of maintenance, corrective work, troubleshooting, and retrofit activities using Haliade 150 knowledge and approved documentation.
• Assist with parts identification, compatibility checks, and pre-assembly, identifying shortages or discrepancies before deployment.
• Support the preparation, readiness, and return of materials, service equipment, and special tooling.
• Help review component information and field findings, referring technical issues to the responsible specialists.
• Support turbine-related familiarization and on-the-job learning through practical knowledge sharing within the approved scope.
• Maintain records relating to assigned activities and communicate preparation status and outstanding issues to the responsible teams.
• Technical approvals and changes to engineering instructions remain the responsibility of the designated authorized functions.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship, vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant mechanical, electrical, or maintenance discipline.
• Practical experience in wind turbine service, including parts preparation, tooling, or technical logistics.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, drawings, and parts lists and identify discrepancies against documented requirements.
• Familiarity with inventory records, material traceability, and warehouse processes.
• Availability for vessel-based assignments and travel between supported sites, subject to the requirements of the assigned activities.
• Ability to meet all applicable medical fitness, safety training, and authorization requirements necessary for deployment and assigned duties.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to use standard office applications and relevant inventory, maintenance, and reporting systems.
