Position: Maintenance Porter / Part-time
The Maintenance Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and overall appearance of community properties. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role focuses on preventative care, timely repairs, and creating a well-maintained environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment.
- Manage and complete work orders through the work order system.
- Conduct general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping.
- Carry out regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings.
- Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
- Apply knowledge in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- 1+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing, and Painting required.
- Experience with Cleaning, Locks, and Gutters is highly desired.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual is a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment, or the public in general.
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance are a plus, but not necessary.
- Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Pay and Benefits:
$21.00 /hour to $24.00 /hour, depending on education and experience.
