Job Description
Hardware Installation & Repair
- Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop hardware issues, including:
o Motherboard faults
o Power supply failures
o RAM, SSD/HDD replacement
o CPU cooling systems
o GPU and expansion cards
o Laptop screen, keyboard, battery, and charging port repairs
- Perform component-level troubleshooting and part replacements.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend hardware lifespan.
- Assemble and deploy new workstations and hardware equipment.
Network Equipment Support
- Diagnose network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
- Perform cable tracing, crimping, and termination (Cat5e/Cat6).
- Coordinate with network administrators for escalated concerns.
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide onsite technical support for end users.
- Troubleshoot OS-related issues (Windows preferred).
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and essential software.
- Manage hardware imaging and workstation setup.
- Document incidents, root causes, and resolution steps.
- Act as a backup to the Service Desk team if and when resources are needed.
Asset & Infrastructure Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and spare parts.
- Partner with the Administration team to streamline the physical asset release and retrieval process.
- Recommend hardware replacements and upgrades.
- Ensure proper cable management and equipment organization.
- Assist in server room maintenance and environmental monitoring.
Operational Continuity
- Respond quickly to hardware failures to minimize business disruption.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately.
- Support new hire workstation setups and office expansions.
- Follow IT security and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years hands-on experience in hardware repair and network troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in:
o Motherboard diagnostics and repair
o Laptop and desktop component-level troubleshooting
o Network device configuration and troubleshooting
o Structured cabling and physical infrastructure setup
o Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and supporting CCTV and Access control devices and applications.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Windows OS installation and configuration.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BPO or corporate IT environment.
- Familiarity with basic server hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of IT asset management systems.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
