Associa is seeking a dedicated Onsite Community Manager to serve as the primary management professional for a premier community in the Knoxville, Tennessee area In this role, you'll work closely with homeowners, board members, residents, vendors, and fellow Associa team members to support the daily operations, financial health, and long-term success of the community.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Onsite Community Manager, you'll play a critical role in the success of the community by:

  • Serving as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, residents, vendors, and Associa
  • Maintaining a consistent onsite presence to oversee day-to-day community operations and deliver exceptional resident service
  • Managing vendor relationships, monitoring contract performance, and coordinating maintenance, landscaping, and capital improvement projects
  • Conducting routine property inspections to ensure community standards are maintained and operational concerns are addressed proactively
  • Preparing board meeting agendas, management reports, meeting notices, and community communications
  • Attending and facilitating board meetings, annual meetings, and committee meetings as required
  • Reviewing monthly financial reports and assisting the Board with budget planning and financial oversight
  • Supporting reserve study recommendations, long-term maintenance planning, and capital improvement initiatives
  • Responding to homeowner inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner
  • Ensuring compliance with governing documents, association policies, and applicable regulations
  • Building positive relationships with residents and supporting community events and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Role

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in community management, property management, hospitality, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and professional correspondence
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and effectively resolve conflicts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, board members, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation
  • Completion of CAI's M-100: The Essentials of Community Association Management course
  • Previous experience as an Onsite Community Manager, Community Association Manager, Property Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Familiarity with HOA operations, board governance, budgeting, vendor management, and community maintenance planning
  • AMS or PCAM designation, or a willingness to pursue professional certifications
