Onshore Telecoms engineer

EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years experience in production telecommunications systems including fibre, radio links, IP Telephony, Radio systems (UHF and VHF), Access Control Systems, PAGA systems, CCTV systems, Rig / Flotel / Vessel Mobilisation and demobilisations.

At least five (5) years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry

Experience in management of sub-contractors.

Good knowledge of Management of Change process for offshore telecoms modifications with multi-disiplinary aspect (Electrical, instruments etc).

Demonstrate personal commitment to the COMPANY HSE Policy.

Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.

Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.

Good knowledge of offshore UK standards, regulations and practices pertaining to Telecommunications systems.

Good knowledge of most typical offshore / onshore Telecom/IT equipment, including but not limited to:

• VHF & UHF Radio, Inmarsat, LOS, Fibre Optic, PAGA, CCTV, Entertainment/AV, etc.
• Planning Planned Maintenance Routines for offshore installations.
• Familiar with requirements for carrying out repairs/inspections on Ex certified equipment.
• Familiar with Maximo or SAP
