As part of the Global Corporate Bank (CB) Business Finance team, you will provide support to a key Deutsche Bank, pillar that generates well over 1 bn EUR of revenue in the Americas, as well as hold a critical position in the financial management/reporting function for the Business. Specifically, you will be responsible for the validation and control of revenue reporting, balance sheet, and internal transfer pricing. You’ll provide guidance to the Business on accounting issues, support their implementation of new products, and respond to ad hoc queries. An integral part of your role will be providing oversight and guidance to the CB Business Finance team based in Mumbai. You’ll regularly interact with other functional areas, including Operations, Regional Finance, Risk Management, Treasury, etc.

What You’ll Do
Play a key role in month-end accounting and reporting, including result reviews, data validation, management reporting, and close deliverables
Summarize financial results and communicate the drivers of business performance succinctly and clearly to your business partners and Finance stakeholders
Support new business and product approvals by assessing financial impacts, reviewing accounting considerations, and partnering with stakeholders
Analyze transfer pricing to ensure accuracy and proper internal allocation methodologies
Support engagement with U.S. and European regulators and internal stakeholders on annual audits, regulatory reviews, and business oversight matters
Actively engage with the global CB Business Finance team to ensure consistency in reporting across locations and share best practices
Skills You’ll Need
Strong accounting skills including detailed knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Capital Reporting
Excellent analytical skills
Experience with and knowledge of financial products and markets
Demonstrable competency with Microsoft Office, as well as automation and AI solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field (CPA or similar preferred)

Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience interacting with senior management

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to 129,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
