Job Description

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Online Sales Specialist to drive growth in our digital customer base. This role is pivotal in identifying prospects, boosting online sales, and building strong customer relationships through digital platforms.

  • Identify and engage new online customers across assigned digital platforms.

  • Drive sales through marketplaces and other digital touchpoints.

  • Manage the online sales pipeline and follow up on leads effectively.

  • Support customers in placing orders and navigating online platforms.

  • Provide clear guidance on products, promotions, and purchasing processes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

  • Monitor customer trends and competitor activities in online channels.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.

  • Leverage digital tools to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechatronics preferred).

  • 3–4 years of relevant business experience in industrial automation distribution.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with CRM tools (SAP C4C, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (SAP BI, MicroStrategy, Spotfire, Analysis for Excel).

  • Ability to collaborate across functions and derive action plans from KPIs.

  • Skilled in dashboard development and conducting review meetings.
