Online Ordering Onboarding Representative

The Challenge To Solve

Getting a shop live is only the first step. Your challenge is to create a smooth onboarding experience that drives early adoption, builds partner confidence, and sets each shop up for long-term success with Slice while identifying risks and opportunities for growth along the way.

The Role

We’re looking for an Onboarding Representative to own the go live process for our Online Ordering Shops and drive adoption among net new and existing Slice partners. You will lead shop onboarding and configuration, set up hardware and software, deliver customer training and early lifecycle support, and proactively manage retention and expansion opportunities. Your role is critical in establishing Slice as a trusted partner, helping shop owners adopt and maximize the value of our platform, from go-live through growth and churn prevention.

This is a cross-functional position, partner closely with Sales, Data Entry, Menu, and all shop-facing and supporting teams.

What you’ll do

• Own the go-live process for shops adopting Online Ordering both Net New and Existing
• Become an expert in Slice’s solutions and offerings, providing an outstanding onboarding experience that ensures success, overcomes objections and reinforces shop buy in
• Proactively reach out, monitor and manage your portfolio’s health, identify at-risk accounts and reach out to ensure shop success, as well as prevent downgrades and churn
• Provide outstanding customer experience to newly joined partners by handling issues and requests with urgency and care
• Build long term relationships with shop owners and staff
• Provide feedback and recommendation based on shop conversations and requests

What we're looking for:

• Excellent verbal and written English skills (Fluent Spanish is a strong plus)
• Strong communication, selling and upselling skills
• 1+ years of Account Management, Sales or Customer & Restaurant Support experience
• Proficient in Google Docs and Excel
• Self starter and self motivator with excellent time management and ability to prioritize high-impact tasks
• Excellent listener who is assertive, persistent, and persuasive
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced exciting startup environment
• Adaptable and able to think on your feet in dynamic situations
• Able to balance speed with thoroughness and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

The Hiring Process
