We are seeking an experienced Online Content Specialist to support the creation and optimization of digital customer communication within a collaborative and agile environment. The successful candidate will work closely with UX specialists, analysts, IT teams, and subject matter experts to develop clear, engaging, and customer-focused online content.
This role focuses on translating complex information into accessible digital communication while maintaining consistency across online platforms and customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Optimization
Create, edit, and optimize online content for digital and mobile channels
Translate complex information into clear and understandable communication
Rewrite and structure content according to established style guidelines
Ensure content consistency across digital communication channels
Monitor and improve content performance based on user insights and analytics
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work within a multidisciplinary agile team alongside:
UX designers
IT specialists
Business analysts
Data analysts
Testers
Collaborate with pension specialists, marketers, legal teams, customer service teams, and content specialists
Support the development of logged-in customer environments
Digital Communication & User Experience
Improve usability and customer understanding within online platforms
Tailor content to different audiences, demographics, and communication needs
Process and translate new legislation and policy updates into customer-friendly content
Contribute to customer satisfaction improvements through effective digital communication
CMS & Content Management
Implement and manage content within Adobe-based CMS environments
Maintain and safeguard corporate identity and communication standards
Coordinate online content updates and publishing activities
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Communication
Digital Media
Or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar online content or digital communication role
Experience working within agile environments and collaborating with IT teams
Strong experience with online and mobile content creation
Knowledge and hands-on experience with:
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Adobe tools
Content Management Systems (CMS)

Additional Information
Hybrid working model with periodic office attendance in Heerlen
Written assessment may be included in the selection process
Experience with Adobe and CMS platforms is mandatory
Strong Dutch language communication skills are highly preferred
