Job Description

The contract objective is to support the European Commission’s ICT standardisation policy.

Mainly Brussels based, with possible missions in Europe and non-European countries.

Tasks

Provide support to the ICT standardisation sector to implement the European Commission’s ICT standardisation policy, by notably:

  • Supporting the development of the yearly Rolling Plan for ICT standardisation, including the integration of new digital solutions to facilitate the preparation of the Plan
  • Organising meetings, workshops and training sessions on ICT and digital standardisation policies
  • Following ICT standardisation processes in European and international standardisation organisations
  • Collecting data, analysing technical documents and providing technical insights on ICT standardisation
  • Supporting awareness raising activities on ICT standardisation

Knowledge and skills

  • Strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of reporting methods.
  • Ability to deliver presentations.
  • Very good communication skills
  • User/customer oriented mindset
  • English: Understanding (C1), Speaking (C1), Writing (C1)
  • Years of experience +2
