Job Description

Wood is recruiting for an OneStream Finance Architect join the Group Finance Function on a six month contract basis. The role is open to contract or FTC engagement.

This role is open to candidates based in the UK, with hybrid and remote working arrangements available.

The Role

In this role you will support the OneStream Consolidation Project and will play a key technical role throughout, responsible for the design, integrity and optimisation of the consolidation system's metadata, master data, logic and security, while driving standardisation, efficiency and a 'right first time' approach to data collection across the business.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Design consolidation system metadata structures and master data, ensuring these are fit for purpose and deliver against business requirements
  • Design and optimise consolidation system logic and ensure adequate validation and control procedures are in place
  • Own and control the design of an appropriate system security setup
  • Own the integration to source data, including configuration and consistency of mapping, working towards improved efficiencies in data collection and a 'right first time' approach
  • Maintain a focus on user challenges, identifying realistic solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection as a priority; drive standardisation and consistency of data collection across all the business
  • Act as the point of contact for OneStream knowledge-sharing and play an active role in upskilling other project team members
  • Ensure system alignment with Group consolidation requirements, maximising automated integrations to reduce manual workload
  • Work closely with Implementation Partners, Group Finance, FP&A, Regional Controllers, IT and other stakeholders

Expected:

  • Experience in a OneStream technical role, with demonstrable depth of technical knowledge
  • Finance background with in-depth knowledge of consolidation systems and processes
  • End-to-end experience of implementing a OneStream consolidation project within a large and complex organisation
  • Proven experience designing and architecting data models and global master data
  • Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take the lead, with a positive, collaborative attitude
