KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Improvement & Continuous Excellence

  • Champion Lean and CI culture across Operations; ensure improvement practices are embedded, not episodic.

  • Identify, prioritize and scope opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline transactional processes for efficiency and scale.

  • Lead root cause analysis on process inconsistencies; own implementation and follow-through of corrective actions.

  • Develop enhancements to global SOPs, policies, and process governance frameworks.

Program & Project Delivery

  • Build and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, and cross-functional dependency maps aligned to strategic objectives.

  • Anticipate and manage program risks; resolve technical, operational, and organizational blockers.

  • Lead standups, workgroup sessions, and steering meetings — driving accountability and maintaining delivery momentum.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear status reporting and proactive escalation.

Automation & Digital Enablement

  • Coordinate with Automation and Process Owner teams to deploy process improvements and automation at scale.

  • Identify tooling opportunities — RPA, workflow automation, reporting platforms — to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.

  • Maintain deep working knowledge of core operational platforms (SAP/ECC, ServiceMax) to credibly interrogate process flows, identify improvement levers, and partner with system owners on configuration and change.

Shared Services Transition & Governance

  • Lead workload transitions from regional teams into Shared Services with structured handover and performance continuity.

  • Build KPI and SLA reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with clear, actionable operational insight.

  • Drive customer satisfaction through continuous monitoring and improvement of service delivery quality.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Deep, hands-on SAP expertise is a critical requirement — including SAP/ECC transactional operations, master data, and cross-module process flows across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Service delivery.

  • Process improvement / transformation experience in a Shared Services or GBS environment.

  • Proven delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed organization across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Strong analytical mindset; able to conduct root cause analysis and translate data into action.

  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships at all levels.

  • Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry background with customer service knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across and optimize core operational platforms, including SAP, ServiceMax, and associated reporting and workflow tooling.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with productivity and reporting tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Desirable

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification.

  • Lean / Six Sigma or equivalent CI accreditation.

  • Experience with RPA, workflow automation, or process mining tools.

  • SAP Business Objects, Spotfire, or equivalent BI/analytics platform experience.

  • ServiceMax or equivalent field service / equipment management platform experience.

  • Shared Services transition or centralization program experience.

  • Additional European language (French, German, or Polish) advantageous.
