The One to One Tutor will deliver intervention programmes to individuals , working with department staff to prepare and implement appropriate learning experiences. A core duty is to assist in developing suitable intervention material, lesson plans, and resources.
You will be responsible for reporting on individual pupil progress and regularly liaising with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback. Furthermore, you will support exam revision sessions and must comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.
We require a Graduate in a related subject or an AS/A2 level in a relevant subject or be a qualified teacher. You must possess excellent communication and listening skills, alongside strong time management and organisational skills.
Essential abilities include supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and having a working knowledge of standard computer packages. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
