This position will support our Young Adults with Cancer (YACs) program through group and event leadership and case management consultation. The program was established in 2019 to provide a place of connection and community to those ages 18-39 diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. The program offers monthly support groups, in person and online, and frequent social activitiesto encourage, strength, and empower young adults.

SCHEDULE DETAILS
Location Varies between Dallas and Fort Worth, but the primary site is at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center in Dallas, which provides front-line care in the outpatient setting, and opportunities to lead patient programs.
Work Schedule: Primarily business hours ( 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) with up to 20 hours per month of planned evening and weekend work. Off-peak hours are scheduled in advance with leadership support.
